Life
Coaching or personal coaching helps individuals,
couples and families identify their dreams, desires, and goals,
then works with them to achieve that outcome. This is facilitated
by turning their concerns into challenges and drawing on their
own inner resources to solve these challenges. It provides the
opportunity to achieve balance and peace. Coaching is not therapy.
Therapy focuses on the root of problem areas and works towards
the emotional resolution of issues brought about by past events
and patterns of behavior that have affected the person’s
life. Coaching focuses on action, the future, goal setting and
creating the life you want. Coaching works for the person who
is generally functioning well in life, but needs a motivating
force and a committed plan to achieve goals that are designed
specifically for that’s person’s dreams and desires.
Areas of coaching
include individual, relationship, parent/family goals, time management,
career decisions, job performance, and generally most any area
that you desire to make a change in your life, but need an encouraging,
motivating and structured plan of action to move you to that desired
change and goal. |
